Dear parents who have lost a child,
I am one of you...I lost my only daughter Dani on 17th of July 2015 in a so called
Hit and Run accident. Since then I don’t know who did it.
She was only 27 years old.
This LETTER was inspired by Dani from above, and it helped me!
It gave me answers, inner peace and the most important – reason to continue with my life.
I am sending this LETTER to you with much LOVE and I HOPE it will help you too!
OPEN LETTER
TO ALL PARENTS WHO HAVE LOST A CHILD
Dear parents who have lost a child,
After the strike that hits us... after the shock and the despair that follows... we suddenly find ourselves in an unknown reality where our children do not exist any more...
We are numb ,we are empty...
We are helpless and the only things that we can do about it are :
We can give to Time all the chances to change something... but that's not going to happen.
We can cry a river...
We can become the most miserable persons...
We can lose everything we have...
We can give up Life...
Yes, we can do all of does and much more, guided by our deep grief ....but we know that none of these are going to bring our children back.
And the questions inside us are so many...
We were supposed to leave before our children... Then why we are still alive?
Is there any reason for us to continue living without our children?
Our lost is the most unnatural loss on Earth,it is so unnatural that there is not a word in any language to describe what we are, because we are not orphans, we are not widowers and widows.... So what are we now?
I lost my only child and I asked myself :Am I a mother now?
Than the answer came:
"You are mother of Angel now!"
Dear parents who have lost a child:
We are Parents of Angels!
Our children knew how strong we are, they knew how big and loving our hearts are, they knew how open minded we are and they knew that we will find the way....
That's how be became Parents of Angels! And this is a responsibility!
As Parents of Angels we have to convert our sorrow which is the biggest and unnatural sorrow on Earth Into the biggest and strongest Love on Earth.
We have to convert our tears Into the biggest and brightest Smile on Earth.
We have to convert our empty hands Into the biggest and caring Hug on Earth.
We have to give all of does freely to everybody...to everybody that we touch, to everybody in need, to everybody in despair....
I know, believe me, I know this is not going to be easy...because the emptiness inside is so big...because it hurts so much...and because we miss our children so badly...
But I believe, we will stand Strong, dear Parents of Angels, because that’s how we are going to help our children from above!
They need us!
And they have lots of work to do!
